Nepal Rastra Bank’s total assets and liabilities have reached NPR 2 trillion 623 billion 95 million 40 thousand. According to the annual report for fiscal year 2081/82, the financial position as of Ashad 2082 shows a growth of 29.23 percent.
According to the central bank, after allocating required funds to various reserves, the remaining NPR 42 billion will be provided to the Government of Nepal.
As per the annual report, the net income before adjustment of foreign exchange and other asset revaluation gains/losses for FY 2081/82 increased by 9.11 percent compared to the previous year, reaching NPR 80 billion 4 crore 26 lakh 50 thousand.
As provisioned in Section 91 of the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 2058, the bank must prepare an annual report containing details related to assets, liabilities, income, and expenditure, and submit it to the Government of Nepal within four months after the end of the fiscal year.
