
In the first T20 practice match of their Australia tour, Nepal set a target of 178 runs for Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
Losing the toss and put to bat first, Nepal scored 177 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Aasif Sheikh top-scored with 69 runs, while captain Rohit Paudel added 36 and Aarif Sheikh contributed 24 runs. For ACT, Evans, Dube, Rahman, and Bruncker took two wickets each.
After the Top End T20 Series, where Nepal was eliminated in the group stage, the team is scheduled to play five additional practice matches in Australia as preparation for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
