The share market posted a marginal gain on the final trading day of the week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the benchmark NEPSE index rose by 4.59 points on Thursday to settle at 2,640.54 points.
Out of the 13 sub-indices traded during the day, share prices of seven sub-groups increased, while six sub-groups recorded declines.
SY Panel recorded the highest turnover of the day, with shares worth more than NPR 200.63 million traded.
Investors in Sanvi Energy earned the most, as the company’s share price surged by 8.16 percent. On the other hand, investors of Super Madi Hydropower faced the biggest loss, with its share price falling by 3.90 percent.
A total of 10,431,760 shares of 328 companies were traded, resulting in a total turnover of over NPR 4.90 billion, NEPSE reported.
