Nepal will take on Kuwait today (Wednesday) in the ICC T20 World Cup Asia–East Asia Pacific Qualifier. The match is scheduled to start at 8:45 PM (Nepal time).
A total of nine teams are participating in this regional qualifier. Nepal is placed in Group B, alongside Kuwait and Japan. After today’s match, Nepal will play its second group-stage game against Japan on Friday, which will mark the first-ever T20I encounter between Nepal and Japan.
In Group A, the teams are UAE, Malaysia, and Qatar, while Group C consists of Oman, Papua New Guinea, and Samoa.
Nepal enters the tournament with high confidence, having recently defeated the West Indies in a T20 series.
