
Nepal will play its fifth match of the ongoing Top End T20 Series in Australia against the Melbourne Renegades on Wednesday. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:15 AM NST in Palmerston.
After suffering three consecutive defeats, Nepal registered its first win on Tuesday by defeating Hobart Hurricanes Academy by 66 runs.
Earlier in the tournament, Nepal lost its opening match to the hosts Northern Territory Strikes, followed by defeats against Bangladesh ‘A’ and Melbourne Stars.
A total of 11 teams are participating in the series, with each side playing six league-stage matches. Nepal is set to face Pakistan Shaheens on Friday in its sixth and final group-stage game.
Following this series, Nepal will also play additional practice matches in Australia as part of its preparations for the ICC T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
