Kathmandu — Nepal’s women’s cricket team will face Rajasthan today in the first match of a friendly cricket series beginning in India.
The Nepali team is set to play six friendly matches in total, competing against three Indian state teams — Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and Bengal — with two matches against each team. The series starts today and will continue until November 19.
The matches are part of Nepal’s preparation to strengthen team coordination and performance under the leadership of captain Indu Barma.
The Nepali squad includes:
Indu Barma (Captain), Kavita Kunwar, Sana Praveen, Rubina Chhetri, Alisha Yadav, Ishwori Bista, Roma Thapa, Ashmita Karmacharya, Sabnam Rai, Bindu Rawal, Puja Mahato, Laxmi Saud, Manisha Upadhyay, Simana KC, and Mamata Chaudhary.
Nepal aims to gain valuable match experience and test its form ahead of upcoming international tournaments.
