Nepal’s national women’s cricket team captain, Indu Barma, has become the first Nepali woman cricketer to score 1,000 runs in Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket.
On Tuesday, Barma achieved the milestone while remaining unbeaten on 48 runs against Malaysia in the fourth match of the ongoing series.
Indu reached the 1,000-run mark in 77 matches, making her the highest run-scorer in Nepal’s women’s T20I cricket history.
