
The Nepal women’s cricket team secured a victory against Malaysia in the second match of the ongoing series on Saturday.
Chasing a target of 92 runs set by Malaysia, Nepal reached the target in 16.2 overs while losing 4 wickets. Puja Mahato scored 39 runs, and captain Indu Barma remained unbeaten with 27 runs, guiding Nepal to victory.
Earlier, Malaysia, batting first, managed 91 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs.
With this win, Nepal leveled the 5-match series 1–1. The third match of the series is scheduled for Sunday.
