Nepali Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam is reportedly in critical condition.
According to hospital sources, he is currently undergoing treatment on a ventilator at Kathmandu Medical College (KMC) in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.
Following the circulation of false rumors about his health on social media, the hospital has denied those claims. “The reports circulating on social media are fake. He is alive and is being treated on a ventilator,” a hospital source clarified.
Earlier in Jestha (May/June), after being released from Nakkhu Prison, Alam had suffered a brain stroke and was treated at Annapurna Neuro Hospital in Maitighar.
