Leaders of the Nepali Congress are moving toward an agreement to hold the party’s 15th General Convention in the last week of Poush.
According to leader Ramesh Lekhak, who is close to party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, most leaders have reached an understanding on the proposed dates.
“We have almost agreed to hold the convention on Poush 27, 28, 29, and 30,” Lekhak said in a conversation with Nagarik News. “Almost all leaders are leaning toward this plan.”
He added that this has been his proposal from the beginning. “I had put forward this idea earlier as well, and now all leaders have agreed on it,” he said.
