The Nepali Congress has recommended the name of party president and former prime minister Sher Bahadur Deuba as a candidate from Bara Constituency No. 3 for the upcoming House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
According to Regional President Prabhat Chaurasiya, a total of 10 names have been recommended under the first-past-the-post system. Along with Deuba, the recommended candidates include central committee member and former lawmaker Farmullah Mansur, district secretary Manoj Bhatt, Parvez Ansari, Bhojraj Bhattarai, Bajrangi Sah, Jang Bahadur Chaurasiya, Prakash Rizal, Ravikaran Sah, and Ambika Thakur.
As the election approaches, political parties in Bara have become increasingly active in the process of selecting their candidates.
