Kanchanpur — The Nepali Congress has organized a protest in the home district of former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak following his arrest by the government on Saturday morning.
The demonstration began from the party office in Mahendranagar, the district headquarters, and progressed via the Industry and Commerce Association building toward Pushpalal Chowk.
According to District Secretary Bhim Bhatt, the protest will continue through the market area and culminate in a corner meeting near the restored King Mahendra statue memorial.
