Nepali all-rounder Dipendra Singh Aire has been signed by JB Bruges to play in the upcoming EU T20 League in Belgium. JB Bruges confirmed that Dipendra will join their squad for the tournament.
JB Bruges is owned by Dream Sports, which is also affiliated with the Janakpur Bolts franchise in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In the NPL, Dipendra represents Sudurpaschim Royals. The club has previously signed aggressive New Zealand opener Colin Munro and South African player Rassie van der Dussen.
The league draft will take place on March 24, and 18 Nepali players are expected to participate. The inaugural EU T20 Belgium Cricket League, organized by Destino Legends Sports LLC in collaboration with the Belgium Cricket Federation, will feature six teams.
Among the participating teams, Liege Red Lions have signed Nepali leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane.
