The share market ended higher on Thursday, the last trading day of the week. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 9.23 points to close at 2,714.61 points.
A total of 332 companies were traded during the day, with shares worth Rs 9.07 billion exchanged. In total, 19 million shares were bought and sold.
Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company recorded the highest turnover of the day, with shares worth Rs 408.2 million traded. It was followed by Manjushree Finance, which saw a transaction volume of Rs 354.9 million.
SY Panel Nepal, Srinagar Agritech, and Trishuli Hydropower Company emerged as the top gainers, with their share prices increasing by 10 percent each. Meanwhile, investors of Kalika Power Company suffered the highest losses, as the company’s share price declined by 6.35 percent.
