The NEPSE index fell by 4.98 points on Wednesday, ending the trading session in negative territory. After rising for the previous two trading days, the market saw a mild decline today. Trading volume also decreased compared to the previous session.
On Tuesday, the market had recorded transactions worth more than Rs. 4.10 billion. However, today, a total of 338 stocks saw transactions amounting to Rs. 3,77,86,32,771, with 83,88,373 shares traded.
The Sensitive Index dropped by 1.26 points, while the Float Index fell by 0.51 points and the Sensitive Float Index declined by 0.45 points.
A total of 8 stocks hit the positive circuit level, including:

- Sagar Distillery
- HimStar Energy Company
- Bungal Hydro
- Sanvi Energy
- Bandipur Cable Car & Tourism

On the losing side, Corporate Development Bank recorded the highest drop of 6.03%.
In terms of trading volume, the most actively traded stocks were:

- Radhi Hydropower Company
Among the sectoral indices, 4 sub-indices increased, while 9 declined. The Hotel & Tourism sector posted the highest gain at 1.16%, whereas the Development Bank sector saw the biggest drop at 1.09% for the day.
