The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 47.71 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week, closing at 2831.39.
A total of 31,606,717 shares of 341 companies were traded, resulting in a turnover of over NPR 12.96 billion. Ridi Power Company Limited recorded the highest turnover of the day, with transactions worth NPR 684.1 million.
Investors in Reliance Spinning Mills earned the highest gains as the company’s share price hit the positive circuit limit.
Meanwhile, investors in Solu Hydropower suffered the biggest losses, with the share price dropping by more than 7%.
