Kathmandu, Nepal — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 11.29 points on Thursday, the final trading day of the week, closing at 2,596.12 points.
A total of 10,868,146 shares from 320 companies were traded through 50,437 transactions, amounting to a total turnover of Rs. 5.41 billion.
During today’s session, only the Manufacturing & Processing sector rose by 0.12% and the Mutual Fund sector gained 0.19%, while all other sectors ended in decline.
Daramkhola Hydropower Limited hit the positive circuit, while Sampada Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited hit the negative circuit.
In terms of trading volume and transaction amount, Shivam Cements Limited topped the list with a turnover of Rs. 309.1 million.
