The benchmark index of the Nepal Stock Exchange declined by 26.07 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week, closing at 2,798.83 points.
According to NEPSE, out of the 13 sub-indices traded today, only one recorded gains while 12 sectors declined.
Shares of Aankhu Khola Hydropower Company Limited recorded the highest turnover of the day, with transactions exceeding Rs 687.7 million.
Meanwhile, investors of Salapa Bikas Bank, Reliance Spinning Mills, Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company, and Solu Hydropower Company were among the top gainers of the day, with their share prices hitting the positive circuit limit of 10 percent.
In total, shares of 345 companies were traded, with 30,790,211 units of shares bought and sold. The total daily turnover exceeded Rs 11.97 billion, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange.
