On the second trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 2.61 points during the pre-open session to reach 2,717.43 points.
During the session, shares worth Rs 178.22 million were traded. A total of 207,892 shares of 75 companies were bought and sold.
Among the traded companies, share prices of 33 companies increased, while prices of 33 companies declined. The share prices of six companies remained unchanged.
