On the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index closed slightly lower during the pre-open session. The benchmark index slipped by 0.32 points to settle at 2,607.05 points. However, the Sensitive Index posted a marginal gain of 0.08 points during the session.
In Sunday’s pre-open session, a total of 14,401 shares were traded through 81 transactions involving 48 stocks, with a total turnover of NPR 7,381,185.90. Among the traded stocks, prices of 16 companies increased, 29 companies recorded a decline, while the share prices of three companies remained unchanged.
