After falling for the previous two trading days, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index recorded a slight recovery today. The benchmark index rose by 5.08 points to close at 2,731.59.
A total of 23,618,186 shares of 334 companies were traded through 121,992 transactions, generating a total turnover of NPR 11.49 billion, according to the exchange.
Sector-wise, all sub-indices increased except for banking, investment, life insurance, microfinance, and non-life insurance. Shares of Corporate Development Bank Limited and Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company Limited hit the positive circuit, while Goodwill Finance Limited Debenture–2083 recorded the highest decline, falling by 8.07 percent.
