
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 44.25 points, closing at 2,547.60 points, marking a 1.76% rise on the day.
According to NEPSE, shares of 330 companies worth Rs. 4.97 billion were traded today, with a total of 9,904,874 shares changing hands in 48,836 transactions.
All sectoral sub-indices ended in the green:

Positive circuit breakers were hit by Nepal Micro Insurance Co. Ltd., Nepal Reinsurance Co. Ltd., and Crest Micro Insurance Ltd.
The biggest loser of the day was Corporate Development Bank Ltd., whose share price declined by 5.26%.
In terms of turnover, NRN Infrastructure and Development Ltd. led the market with transactions worth Rs. 319.1 million, while Laxmi Sunrise Bank Ltd. recorded the highest number of traded shares — 523,233 units.
Overall, today’s session reflected strong investor sentiment across all major sectors, signaling renewed optimism in the secondary market.
