The NEPSE index increased by around 4.5 points during Wednesday’s pre-open session.
After closing at 2,960.40 points on Tuesday with a gain of 23.83 points, the index rose by 4.27 points in the pre-open session to reach 2,964.67 points. The sensitive index also recorded a gain of 1.08 points during the session.
In the pre-open session, shares of 106 companies were traded 308 times, with a total transaction amount of NPR 128.24 million. A total of 149,291 shares were bought and sold.
Among the traded stocks, prices of 48 companies increased, while 41 declined. The prices of the remaining 17 stocks remained unchanged during the session.
