On Sunday, the first trading day of the week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index recorded a slight gain. The NEPSE index increased by 5.19 points to close at 2,509.04 points.
According to NEPSE, a total of 5,596,077 units of shares from 313 companies were traded in 27,899 transactions, with the total transaction amount shrinking to Rs 2.66 billion.
During Sunday’s trading session, the sub-indices of Life Insurance, Manufacturing & Processing, Non-Life Insurance, Trading, and Others saw an increase, while the sub-indices of all other groups declined.
SBL Debenture 2089 hit the positive circuit on Sunday, while Taragaon Regency Hotel Limited suffered the highest loss of the day, with its share price dropping by 7.16 percent.
