After a continuous six-day downward trend, the NEPSE index paused its decline and recorded a slight gain on Tuesday, the third trading day of the week. The stock market rose by 7.39 points, closing at 2,614.07.
A total of 148 companies saw their share prices increase, while 101 companies witnessed a decline. The share prices of 9 companies remained unchanged.
On Tuesday, 331 companies traded 87,42,084 shares in 62,665 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs. 3.75 billion (3,75,50,27,795).
Meanwhile, Swastik Laghubitta and Srinagar Agritech hit the positive circuit limit.
The highest turnover of the day was recorded by Ngadi Group Power, with transactions worth Rs. 319.2 million.
