Newly appointed Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Sharma Gautam has said that the Gen-Z movement should not go to waste.
She made the remark on Monday during her visit to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) to inquire about the health condition of those injured during the Gen-Z movement.
During her interactions with the injured individuals, Minister Gautam became emotional. Speaking to the media with tears in her eyes, she said:
“It was truly painful to see the injured. My only wish is that this movement does not go in vain. I request everyone not to engage in activities like opposing the election or trying to disrupt it.”
Her emotional reaction also moved those present at the hospital.
Minister Gautam said the government is committed to conducting the elections on the scheduled date, urging everyone to begin preparations for it. She further assured that she would fulfill her responsibilities in line with the spirit and sentiments of the Gen-Z movement.
