Newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad Aryal has taken the oath of office and secrecy.
The oath ceremony was held on Sunday afternoon at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas, where President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath to Speaker Aryal.
Earlier the same day, the House of Representatives meeting had formally announced Aryal’s unopposed election as Speaker.
