An event titled ‘NPL Night’ is set to be held today at LOD Club in Thamel. The celebration will see the participation of players from all eight teams of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), including members of the championship-winning squad.
According to LOD Club CEO Robin Shrestha, the celebration night is being organized to mark the conclusion of the NPL, with participation from all players and teams involved in the league. He said the Nepal Premier League is a matter of national pride and has significantly contributed to promoting Nepal’s tourism, as players from different countries took part in the tournament.
LOD Club served as the entertainment partner for the second season of the NPL, which was held at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. Earlier, an agreement regarding this partnership was signed between LOD Club CEO Robin Shrestha and Cricket Association of Nepal Secretary Paras Khadka. Shrestha also indicated that the club may continue as the entertainment partner in the coming seasons.
Throughout the NPL matches, DJs from LOD Club provided musical performances. Shrestha said the club was responsible for entertaining both the players and spectators attending the matches.
The second season of the Nepal Premier League, which began on Mangsir 1, concluded today.
