The operating hours of government offices, public bodies, and educational institutions have been set from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM starting today.
The decision made by the Cabinet meeting held on Sunday was published in the Nepal Gazette by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Nepal), issuing an official notice. According to the notice, Saturday and Sunday will remain public holidays for government offices, public bodies, and educational institutions.
Except for educational institutions, the office hours for the mentioned offices and bodies will remain from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM starting from Chaitra 23.
However, the notice published in the Gazette also states that from Kartik 16 to Magh 15, the office hours will be maintained from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
