A person was killed and 21 others were injured when a passenger Hiace (registration number Su Pa Pra 01–001 Kha 3956) met with an accident this morning along the Golden Road section of the Bhimdatta Highway in Doti district.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Tek Bahadur Jora of the Attariya Traffic Police Office, the vehicle was traveling from Achham to Dhangadhi when the accident occurred.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Hariya Pariyar of Achham district, who died on the spot.
Police said 21 passengers were injured, with the condition of three reported to be critical. The injured are being taken to Dhangadhi for treatment.
