One person was killed and two others were injured in a vehicle accident near Simkhola Bridge in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality–2, Makwanpur, along the Kulekhani–Kathmandu road section.
According to Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson of the Makwanpur District Police Office, the accident occurred this morning when a vehicle bearing registration number Madhesh Province 03-001 Cha 6721, traveling from Sarlahi to Kathmandu, met with an accident. Seventeen-year-old Rohan Mandal of Ward No. 1, Barathwa Municipality, Sarlahi, died in the incident.
The injured have been identified as 25-year-old Rambali Sah and 16-year-old Chhote Paswan, both from Ward No. 1 of Barathwa Municipality, Sarlahi. They are currently undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Medical College.
