The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Nepal has reported that Nepal is currently under the partial influence of a western low-pressure system along with local winds.
At present, the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali Province, Gandaki Province, and Sudurpashchim Province are generally cloudy. Meanwhile, the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, Lumbini Province, and Bagmati Province are experiencing partly cloudy conditions.
The remaining parts of the country are seeing mostly clear weather. However, a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province are currently witnessing light rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Daytime Forecast (Wednesday):
The mountainous regions of the country will see generally cloudy conditions, while the hills and Terai regions will experience partly cloudy weather. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Night Forecast:
The hilly and mountainous regions of Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, Sudurpashchim Province, and Gandaki Province will remain generally cloudy. The Terai region of Gandaki Province and the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Koshi provinces will see partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will have mostly clear weather.
There is also a chance of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpashchim Province. Additionally, light rain and snowfall are likely in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province and the Himalayan areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
