Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly and local winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Nepal.
Due to this system, the Himalayan regions of Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpashchim Province are generally cloudy at present, while the rest of the country is experiencing partly cloudy conditions.
Daytime Forecast:
This afternoon, the Himalayan regions of all provinces, along with the hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini Province, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, are expected to remain generally cloudy.
There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and snowfall at a few places in the Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, and at one or two locations in the remaining hilly and Himalayan areas. Gusty winds are also likely at some places in the Terai regions across all provinces.
Night Forecast:
Tonight, the hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces will remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies.
There is a chance of light rain with thunder and snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki, and Karnali. Gusty winds are also possible at some locations in the Terai regions nationwide.
