Nepal is currently experiencing the partial influence of westerly winds along with local winds.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology under the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the weather in the remaining areas is forecast to remain clear.
This afternoon, some places in the Terai region are likely to witness morning mist. Generally cloudy conditions are expected in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
Similarly, the hilly and mountainous regions of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the country will see clear weather, the Division said.
There is a possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
Tonight, fog is likely to occur in some parts of the Terai region. The hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy, while the remaining areas of the country will experience mainly clear weather, according to the Division’s forecast.
