The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the country is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. At present, dense fog has covered many areas of the Terai. The hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, and Gandaki Province are experiencing partly cloudy conditions.
According to the Division, fog will persist in many places of the Terai during the daytime. There is a possibility of fog in the Terai regions of Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and Bagmati Province during the morning hours, while fog may continue until noon in the remaining Terai areas. The hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province, Karnali Province, Sudurpashchim Province, and other remaining provinces are expected to remain partly cloudy.
Tonight, fog is likely to prevail in most parts of the Terai. The hilly and mountainous regions of all provinces are forecast to remain partly cloudy.
