The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. Due to this effect, fog has formed in a few places across the Terai region.
According to the Department, the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, Gandaki Province, and Karnali Province are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, while the weather in the remaining areas is mainly clear.
This afternoon, fog and mist are expected in some parts of the Terai region. The high hilly and Himalayan areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces will continue to see partly cloudy skies, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear.
Tonight as well, fog is likely in some locations of the Terai. The Department has forecast partly cloudy conditions in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, with generally clear weather elsewhere.
