Currently, Nepal is experiencing the partial influence of the western wind system.
According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, on Tuesday afternoon, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while partly cloudy conditions are expected in the rest of the country.
Similarly, light to moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely to occur at a few places in the hilly areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, and at one or two places in the hilly regions of other provinces. There is also a possibility of light rain in some parts of the Tarai region of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
For tonight, the weather will remain generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces and partly cloudy elsewhere, the department stated in its bulletin.
The department further mentioned that moderate rainfall and snowfall are likely at a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as at one or two places in other hilly regions. (RSS)
