Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds. The Himalayan region is generally cloudy, while the rest of the country is experiencing partly cloudy conditions. Fog has formed in some areas of the Terai.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, fog is likely to occur in some parts of the Terai on Thursday afternoon. Many areas of the Terai are expected to see misty conditions, while the hilly and mountainous regions will remain mostly clear.
Similarly, tonight fog is expected in some parts of the Terai, whereas weather conditions in the hilly and Himalayan regions will remain clear. The Division has urged all concerned to remain cautious, as fog, possible snowfall, and rainfall may affect daily life, tourism, trekking, health, as well as air and road transportation.
