According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is currently partly cloudy in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while the rest of the country is experiencing mainly clear skies.
This afternoon, fog is likely to persist in some areas of the Terai until midday. The department stated that the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi Province will remain generally cloudy, while other hilly and mountainous areas across the country will witness partly cloudy conditions.
Weather conditions in other parts of the Terai are expected to remain mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
Similarly, tonight, fog is likely to occur in some parts of the Terai. Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will have mainly clear weather.
