
Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was reported unwell on Wednesday and is currently resting at his residence in Baluwatar.
According to UML Chief Whip Mahesh Bartual, the Prime Minister’s health condition led to the cancellation of the scheduled question-and-answer session with lawmakers in the House of Representatives. Bartual clarified, “The Prime Minister is unwell, but it’s nothing serious. He is resting at Baluwatar.”
The Prime Minister’s private secretariat confirmed that he has a mild cold and cough. A member of the secretariat said, “On the advice of doctors, the Prime Minister is resting at his residence.”
The House meeting had been scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday afternoon.
