During the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit in Tianjin, China, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a bilateral meeting with President Thongloun Sisoulith of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss various aspects of the bilateral relationship between the two countries. Attending the meeting were former Deputy Prime Minister and House of Representatives member Purna Bahadur Khadka, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pande, former minister and Prime Minister’s economic and development advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, former minister and House member Chhabilal Bishwakarma, and Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, among others.
The summit, which began on Sunday at the Meijiang Convention Center in Tianjin, will feature addresses today by heads of state and government of the participating countries, including Prime Minister Oli.
