Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who is currently on an official visit to China, held talks with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng.
The bilateral meeting took place on Tuesday at the State Guest House in Beijing.
Earlier in the day, PM Oli arrived in Beijing from Tianjin after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.
During his stay in Beijing, he is also scheduled to observe a military parade organized by China.
