Following a series of resignations by ministers, Prime Minister Sushila Karki has personally taken charge of their portfolios.
On Sunday, Sports Minister Wablu Gupta resigned, followed by Information Minister Jagdish Kharel on Monday, and Education and Technology Minister Mahavir Pun on Tuesday.
After their resignations, PM Karki recommended taking over the responsibilities of these ministries herself. According to her office, President Ramchandra Paudel has officially assigned the charge of these ministries to her based on this recommendation.
