A Nepal Police constable has been murdered in Darchula district, with his body found behind a hotel in the Bangabagad area.
The deceased has been identified as Police Head Constable Yogendra Gharti, who was serving at a Community Police Service Center, according to Sudurpaschim Province Police Office DIG Om Rana.
Police suspect that Gharti was beaten to death. In connection with the incident, four individuals have been taken into custody for questioning.
Police have stated that an investigation is underway after detaining the suspects to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the murder.
