Police intervened in a Gen-Z protest at Maitighar led by Miraj Dhungana, where demonstrators had taken to the streets demanding the formation of an all-party government.
The protest by youths including Dhungana was dispersed by police after authorities said the program was held without administrative permission. During the intervention, pushing and shoving occurred between police and protesters.
Police also detained several demonstrators, including Nikolas Bhusal, as they moved to clear the area and restore order.
