The Madhesh Province Police conducted a raid in Mukhiyapatti Musaharnia Rural Municipality–3 and seized a large quantity of illegally stored goods.
According to the police, the items were secretly stored behind a grinding mill owned by Shiv Saran Mahato, about 400 meters east of the Tulsiyahi Police Post. During the raid, officers discovered 12 sacks containing various models of shoes, mobile covers, and women’s slippers.
The District Police Office in Dhanusha estimated the value of the seized goods at more than NPR 700,000. The confiscated items have been handed over to the Area Police Office in Phulgama, and further investigation has begun. The incident site is reported to be about 7 kilometers away from the police office.
Madhesh Province Police stated that they have been regularly conducting raids based on secret information to control illegal storage, smuggling, and theft-related activities. Authorities said investigations are ongoing to identify the source of the seized goods and the individuals involved.
