Two posters of the film ‘Maijharo’, set to release on Kartik 7, have been unveiled. On Thursday, the production team released the posters, confirming the release date.
In the first poster, lead actors Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, and Diya Pun are featured. Dhiraj and Miruna appear in Rai community attire with traditional drums, while Diya Pun is shown in a Dhaka saree representing the Limbu community. The poster hints at the film’s love triangle storyline.
The second poster shows Dhiraj and Miruna sitting closely on a swing in a romantic pose. Dhiraj is holding a basket, while Miruna, dressed in kurta–suruwal, gazes at him, highlighting their romantic relationship.
Directed and written by Wilson Bikram Rai, the film showcases the natural beauty of the eastern hills and explores human relationships.
Alongside Dhiraj, Miruna, and Diya, the film features actors Buddhi Tamang, Sunil Thapa, Pushkar Gurung, Abhiyaraj Baral, Mautse Gurung, Kavita Ale, Rajani Gurung, Prem Subba, Uday Subba, Anil Subba, Bhupendra Lingden, and Vishal Limbu.
Produced under the Takme Production banner, the film’s music is composed by Anmol Gurung and Torempahang Rai. Editing is done by Mitra D Gurung and Rajesh Payal Rai, with songs sung by Jhuna Limbu, Melina Rai, Asmita Adhikari, and Anmol Gurung. Cinematography is by Saurabh Lama. RR Films holds distribution rights, while OSR has acquired digital streaming rights.
This film marks Wilson Bikram Rai’s directorial and writing debut, although he has previously produced films under the Takme Production banner.
