Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, coordinator of the convention organizing committee of the CPN (Maoist Centre), has said that continuous efforts are being made to conclude the remaining tasks of the peace process, stressing the need for unity among patriotic forces.
Speaking at the general assembly of Shaheed Foundation Nepal held at the party’s central office today, Prachanda stated that the responsibility to complete the peace process remains unfinished. He added that while in government, efforts were made to address these issues, and while outside the government, the party has continued to remind the state of its duties.
He emphasized the importance of respecting the sentiments of martyr families and relatives of the disappeared fighters, calling for the swift completion of all tasks related to the peace process. Prachanda also described the current situation as a serious challenge to the nation’s independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty.
