President Ramchandra Paudel has honored Ravindra Dhant, who recently won the Matrix Fight Night (MFN) title held in Noida, India.
During a felicitation program organized at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas, on Wednesday, President Paudel congratulated Dhant on his achievement. He stated that Dhant’s victory has brought pride to the entire nation and called on the government to ensure a secure future for athletes within the sports sector.
President Paudel remarked, “Only by providing opportunities for training and international competition along with necessary facilities and recognition, can our athletes break records and achieve success.”
Nepali MMA fighter Ravindra Dhant returned to Kathmandu on Monday after defeating titleholder Chongren Koren. He secured the MFN belt by knocking out Koren in the third round.
