President Ram Chandra Paudel has stated that the election scheduled for March 5 (Falgun 21) is essential for the nation, the people, and democracy.
Recalling the difficult and unusual circumstances the country has passed through, he said that the date for the House of Representatives election was set to protect the constitution, democracy, and the nation from that challenging situation.
President Paudel said, “I believe the outcome of this election will strengthen the journey of good governance, development, and prosperity, and will guide the nation in a new direction. Since this election is indispensable for the country, the people, and democracy, I appeal to all Nepali brothers and sisters to make it successful.”
He emphasized the need to enhance skill-based education that provides practical knowledge, moral education, and capacity development while introducing courses according to the needs of society and the nation.
He added that the primary responsibility of educational institutions is to produce competent and skilled human resources required for various sectors of the country.
He further remarked that education plays a crucial role in the development of any nation.
On the occasion, President Paudel honored Vidya Thapa, Pragya Gautam, Bhagwati Sedai, Niran Khanal, and Anjana Pokharel, who recently completed their PhD degrees.
